This LOGITECH USB Microphone is well made and easy to install. Just plug into a USB port and go! The mike has a light that comes on when the mike is active and ready to use. It has great sound quality and I am very happy with my purchase. In addition, I have used this microphone in PowerPoint and also in other programs where I need to narrate and the sound quality is excellent. The best this is the ON and OFF switch at the base of the microphone which is a feature found on the more expensive microphones. So I 100% recommend this microphone.

I wanted to make calls from Gmail, but I didn't want to wear a headset, so I got this microphone. It was easy to install and set up, and the people I've called using it say the sound quality is good. Can't beat the price!

Summary : Simple, High Quality, a Great Value!
I use the microphone to record occasional instructional videos, and I could not be more satisfied with how well it works. The assembly could not possibly be simpler - just open the package, take out the microphone, and plug it into a USB slot in your computer. Sit about a foot or so away, and start talking. That's it - you're up and running! The recording quality is very high, almost amazingly high based on the low price of this product. I'd highly recommend this to anyone!

Summary : WARNING: it picks up sound even if it's turned OFF
I had this microphone for a long time and I loved it.
Until I was on Skype and my friend told me to get closer to my microphone, because he can't hear me well. Then I realized that my microphone was not even turned on! Once I turned it on, the volume was of course normal.
But this incident showed me that you can't trust this microphone. If you turn it off, the volume will lower, that's all.
I confirmed the problem with the Sound Recorder app.
It's unbelievable, but true! Please try it yourself and then help to spread the word!
