Summary : Great Little Webcam (and at a decent price)
The PC Camera 6 LED Webcam us a great little camera. Good image quality and microphone sensitivity. The only negative thing I have to report is that the LEDs will only adequately illuminate a subject that is very close to the camera (perhaps 12 to 24 inches), so your face will look like a ghost peering out of the darkness if you are in a completely dark room. On the other hand, if you are in a low light situation, point the camera down and use the LEDs as a keyboard light.
Overall I am very satisfied. In fact, I am buying two more for my nephew who is deploying to Iraq, and his wife.

Summary : Great for the Cost
The camera shows clear images and the microphone pics up from a good distance away. It is really good for the money. The only problem I had with it is that the night lights on it do not work so if there is not proper lighting one is out of luck with getting a clear image.

Summary : Cheap webcam that works
This cheap Webcam (emphasis on cheap) worked on arrival, so that was worth at least 3 stars. The other reviews posted for this item are a bit confusing now that I have the Webcam in my possession.
*There is no IR, just 6 white LED's. Some people posted that the LED's come on by them selves or in low light, that is not the case there is a switch / slider on the USB cord that lets you increase or decrease the light intensity.
*The clamp works fine.
*The swivel head works fine.
*The focus ring on is pretty basic you unscrew or screw in the lens for focusing. It never gets very clear but you can tell when it is in focus.
As for the odd reviews that do not match this product, I can only assume that who ever is selling this thing or the manufacture has changed the product or has a few different versions.
For the price I paid for this thing I was impressed.
Bottom line: If you want a webcam that sort of has the ability to see at night and do not want to pay much, then this is your webcam. If you want great picture and video quality shell out some more cash and buy a more expensive model.

Summary : Terrible
The camera worked once and then failed to provide a clear image. The driver was downloaded correctly and then the next time I tried to use it it failed so I tried to delete and reload the drivers and it did not pass my security but I downloaded it anyway and it continued to fail. The microphone part worked fine. I call this "the disposable web cam". I guess you get what you pay for...I've had to buy something else.

I hate it! I spend a lot of time installing the drving program and I can't finish it!
