Summary : Very nice
I've always have bought Logitech webcams so I made the switch to Microsoft and this is a definitely a better WebCam. It was easy to install and it works great with MS Messenger and Skype and the clarity was awesome! I'm a happy camper!

Summary : Best Web cam EVER!
First the picture is super clear, second, it looks great because the frame is 16:9 style. I set this up on my PC at the office, I must have sold about 10 of them just by seeing how clear it looks when they are just walking by. Setting up the software is EASY, if you have WIndows 7 you plug it in an you are done. Windows 7 not only recognizes the driver, but it downloads all the software and installs it for you. This is some technology.
Some HD handheld cams I looked at could easily go $3000+, this is a great inexpensive replacement for doing presentions or creating content.
If you have a slow junky PC, you will get a slow junky picture most likely. If you are using an old PC more than 5 years old, replace it because 5 year old PCs and CPUs take up more electricity.

I "tried" one, and was so pleased I not only bought a 2nd, we also recomended it to other family members who also bought it.
It is not what we have been accustomed to getting from MicroSoft. This does everything it says it will do and does it better than most all the others on the market (in the price range). It is perfect for Skype, and it does not slow down the process, nor cause other problems: it loads easily with the enclosed disk. It features a real glass lense, an excellent microphone, easy of use, fits nearly anywhere, and is fun to use.

I read a few of the reviews before I purchased this web-cam and I can confirm the same positive findings. I've owned previous versions of Microsoft cameras - all mediocre - but this particular model is a stand-out! The camera has an ergonomic design and because of its flexible stands it can be used with both laptops and desktops without any sacrifices. The device has a quality feel and it seems very durable. Video quality is spectacular and the camera responds very well in low-light settings.
Definitely worth the money! No reservations...
