Works as described and was pretty easy to install on my daughter's laptop computer. A week after purchasing I saw it for @ $14.00 less at my local BJ's - so shop around if you can before buying.

Summary : Great basic webcam
Great basic webcam to use with Skype, Gmail video chat, etc. No need to install the Logitech software, Windows XP detects and installs needed drivers automatically. Only basic configuration of chat clients needed. Picture and sound are good quality. Very easy to use! Highly recommended.

I bought this for my mother to Skype with me while I will be attending college.
For the dollar amoumt, this is the best quality you will get out of a webcam. The true 1.3MP looks great, and it's very easy to use. All around, a great webcam. Nothing more to be said.

i do love this camera! note that this is the first one that we have ever owned, but i have no complaints...we have used it for skype and a class that i take online...really enjoying it! easy to use and set up and we are happy with our purchase!

This was my first webcam purchase and I used customer reviews to find an affordable decent cam. I have used it for Skype and MSN messenger. It doesn't seem to send a very good picture, but the sound is good. It is easy to hook up right out of the box with simple software.
